Francesca Ducci - MD, PhD, Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry
I am a Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry working across the NHS and private sector in London since 2013. I trained in Italy and the UK and have developed broad clinical and academic experience through work in Italy, the UK, and the United States, including four years at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, where I completed a PhD. I specialise in the assessment, diagnosis, and pharmacological treatment of a broad range of mental health conditions in adults, with a particular focus on neurodiversity, including Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). I offer assessments in English and Italian.

I adopt a holistic approach to psychiatric care, integrating biological, psychological, and social factors, and practise evidence-based medicine in line with NICE and Royal College of Psychiatrists guidance. Alongside medical treatment, I take a psychologically informed approach and have completed a foundation year in systemic therapy, as well as training in the cognitive behavioural model for family interventions. I particularly enjoy working with young people and carers, and aim to provide collaborative, thoughtful, and person-centred care. I am registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) and am a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) and the British Medical Association (BMA).
