I am also an accredited BABCP (British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies) CBT therapist. I work part-time as a CBT therapist for the Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, providing psychological therapy to individuals experiencing a wide range of difficulties, including depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, stress and burnout.
As a Clinical Psychologist and BABCP/ EAP accredited psychotherapist, I use evidence-based therapies, mainly Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and third wave therapies (DBT, ACT, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy) as well as Mentalisation Based Therapy and psychodynamic approaches for specific mental health problems.
I have gained significant clinical experience when working with clients with a variety of mental health problems and a diverse background including GAD, health anxiety, panic disorder, phobias, OCD, depression, PTSD, drug & alcohol misuse, dual diagnosis, neurodevelopmental disorders, personality disorders, severe mental health problems including schizophrenia and BPAD, and everyday problems (relationships, coping with problems, health conditions, major life changes, bereavement and loss).
I can offer a range of evidence-based psychological approaches and a person tailored therapy. I also provide emotional support and coaching & mentoring for clients and staff. I maintain a strong commitment to continual professional development to offer best service to all clients.
