I’m a substantive Consultant Psychiatrist in the NHS, and a Honorary Clinical Research Fellow at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College of London. I do my private practice at Crossroads Psychology exclusively Online.
I am skilled in the management of a broad range of psychiatric problems, both minor and severe.
In addition to my availability to assess and manage common problems such as stress, anxiety and depression, I have a special interest in bipolar and psychosis, ranging from early prodromal state, to treatment resistant illness. I have particular experience in the assessment, early detection and management of a variety of emerging psychiatric disorders in young adults.
I am also experienced in the management of chronic complex psychotic disorders and offer second and third line treatments for difficult to treat illnesses. I also offer ADHD assessments to adults.
I have 12 years experience working in the field of psychiatry. In the NHS I work as a substantive consultant psychiatrist at the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust for TREAT (Treatment Review and Assistance Team), a specialist Service for patients with difficult to manage psychotic symptoms and side effects from treatment, complex physical comorbidities and treatment resistant psychosis.
I have also worked for several years with patients with emerging psychosis, in the community. I led the set up of the early detection for psychosis team (OASIS) for young adults in Croydon and Lewisham.
